Because it's Monday and it's the afternoon and you need a pick-me-up, here's a video of Pat Riley singing "My Girl" by The Temptations.

It's pretty awesome, too.

The video is from Shane Battier's South Beach Battioke Karaoke charity event that went down last week. We've seen the photos and videos of LeBron James in a Rick James wig while he performed the classic "Super Freak" and more videos have emerged from the event.

After trying to talk his way out of singing the song ("I'll pay you $10,000 if I don't have to sing this"), Riley is a good sport and gives his best effort, even though it's very clear his talent revolves around basketball. He gets extra points for knowing his limitations and encouraging the crowd to join in on the chorus.

Things really pick up at the four-minute mark when Riley starts to feel it, getting into the groove of the song after some catcalls from the audience.

My personal favorite moment happens at the 5:12 mark when Riley isn't sure where the song is going or whether he wants to go background vocals or main vocals and he wears his pained and confused look all over his face.

Bonus sweet moment: after he's finished singing, he says, "I always said I would always dance and sing for my players, and that one is for them."
