Eagles Lose, But Who Is To Blame?

Dave HowardContributor IJanuary 19, 2009

As everybody is aware of by now, the Eagles lost to the Cardinals.

Is this the fault of us, or the fault of the refs, or something else.

You could say the refs, because of two missed pass interference calls, one against Kevin Curtis, the other against Jason Avant.

You could also say that we had bad defense, and that would be true. But it is not the whole truth.

We had bad defense, because we were worried about covering both Boldin AND Fitzgerald. We were more worried about Boldin, and Fitzgerald and Warner took advantage of that.

We might have lost because of McNabb's bad passes.

We didn't though, we lost because of Fitzgerald.

I congratulate the Cardinals on making the Super bowl, but watch out Cards, because next year we are coming back, and we will be the ones in the Super Bowl.
