Bleacher Report was on scene in Boston to get a taste of the atmosphere prior to Ohio State's 77-70 win over Syracuse in the Elite Eight.

The Orange entered the game fresh off a close win over the Wisconsin Badgers. Meanwhile, the Buckeyes cruised into the game behind the 23-point, 11-rebound performance by stud sophomore Jared Sullinger against the Cincinnati Bearcats.

The Syracuse Orange entered the tournament with a No. 1 seed, but center Fab Melo was suspended for the entire tournament. Melo was a key piece in the 2-3 zone defense, and his absence was a major factor against the big frontline of Ohio State Buckeyes big men Sullinger and DeShaun Thomas, who both had big nights.

Despite the absence of star Fab Melo, the game lived up to expectations. Syracuse pulled to within three points with 37 seconds left before Ohio State hit some free throws to seal the game.
