Roh Your Boat: A Closer Look at Craig Roh
As most Michigan fans know by now, Coach Rich Rodriguez has landed the No. 4 DE in the nation, Craig Roh, out of Scottsdale, Arizona. Roh stands 6'4", 225 pounds. He is the 2008 ESPN Rise Arizona player of the year.
In 2007, Roh recorded 99 tackles, 48.5 for a loss, and 15.5 sacks, while recovering five fumbles.
Roh will provide a solid addition to a distraught Michigan pass rush. With his speed off the line, and quick moves, Roh can easily evade the opposing offensive line.
Although Wolverine Nation can not wait to see Roh in action, we most likely will not see him in action this year. Roh needs to bulk up a bit, and will most likely take a red-shirt for his first year at Michigan, and will be ready to take the field at the Big House in 2010.
Roh right now, is Michigan's top recruit for 2009, and we hope to see him in the years to come. If in fact Michigan can land No. 2 DE Sam Montgomery, then Michigan's defensive pass rush, will be truly rebuilt in the next few years at Michigan.
