NFL Draft: Stock Up and Stock Down
Market trends can change in an instant. One day a stock is the hottest commodity, then it comes crashing down without notice. So too is the world of NFL Draft player rankings.
NFLDraft365 gives in an inside look at which potential draftees have increased their stock after the NFL Combine and pro days and which players have work to do before the end of April.
According to draft analyst Matt Miller, three players—Wisconsin wide receiver Nick Toon, Michigan State quarterback Kirk Cousins and Washington running back Chis Polk—have all increased their status on the big board.
Unfortunately, the same can't be said for the likes of Arizona State linebacker Vontaze Burfict, Alabama cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick or Marshall defensive end Vinny Curry. All three players are sliding down the draft board and likely to be selected long after they originally thought.
