Buffalo Bandits Rout the Rochester Knighthawks in a 23-6 Affair

Last night the Buffalo Bandits came out of the gate with only one thing on their mind and that's winning. The Bandits started the game with a pretty comfortable 3-1 lead in the first quarter coming from John Tavares, Mark Steenhuis, and Sean Greenhalgh. The second quarter it was a different story.

Steenhuis would score again as well as Roger Vyse who scored twice in the quarter to cap off a five goal quarter that put them in the lead 8-3 at half time. The lone two goals for Rochester in the quarter were from Shawn Evans. Evans scored them both on power plays.

In the third quarter, Steenhuis would score three more times. Steenhuis currently leads the team with 25 points and 15 goals and this point he would have five goals and would end the game with eight all together! The Bandits would score six times but topped that in the fourth quarter with a nine-goal quarter. Talk about letting up with a big lead.

The Knighthawks would only score six times and they lost to the Bandits 23-6. Next for Rochester would be a trip to San Jose to face the Stealth and for Buffalo, they have a three game road trip ahead of them starting out in Minnesota against the Swarm.
