ORLANDO, FL - OCTOBER 29: Dwight Howard #12 of the Orlando Magic dances as he is introduced along with teammates Hedo Turkoglu #15 (L) and Rashard Lewis #9 before taking on the Atlanta Hawks at Amway Arena on October 29, 2008 in Orlando, Florida. The real reason why Dwight Howard decided to stay in Orlando: to have fun karaoke-ing it up with his teammates, obviously.

Check this video of Howard and Chris Duhon helping out two young fans at the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation Gala. The two join a pair of fans to perform Baby Got Back, stepping in when their guys get a little overwhelmed with the words.

This is fantastically awkward and a little painful, if we're being honest. Basically, the best. What more could you ask for? The guys erupting in laughter, Duhon jumping in to save them when things look like they're about to fall apart, Howard's dance moves and gestures, the commitment to sticking it out (pun not intended) when things get rough and no one knowing the lyrics; this is karaoke at it's best.

Also great:

  • The 3:06 mark where Duhon and Howard emphatically rap the infamous, "Don't want none unless you got buns, hun" line while the youngest members of their squad look as though they're hearing it for the first time.
  • Duhon busting up at the 3:25 mark while Howard struggles to get them through the song.
  • The fact that Howard still refuses to wear a sweater that actually fits him and doesn't look like it was made for someone five sizes smaller than him, even at a black-tie event.
  • The fact that these guys are rapping about the joys of a lady with ample booty in front of the crowd at this black-tie event.

There are too many moments to mention, really. Watch, enjoy and revel in the greatness for yourself. Also: Props to the Magic for giving back at the event and to the Magic players for being such great sports for the evening.
