In the ever-changing world that is the NFL, no job is safe.

This could not have been proven more true today with the firing of Jon Gruden.

With the Buccaneers just missing the playoffs this year, so many key free agents, and an aging defense, the state of the franchise is in question.

The Buccaneers are behind the curve in the coaching carousel, but may get lucky. The reality is, Jon Gruden is an above-average coach who wins with journeyman quarterbacks.

If the Buccaneers are looking for a spark, they may find one in Dallas' offensive coordinator, Jason Garrett.

Garrett was a hot commodity last year, and overlooked this year due to the team's late collapse.

Regardless of what happens, the firing of Jon Gruden is sure to make teams looking for a coach re-evaluate their situations.

Congratulations Jon Gruden, you just became the most eligible coach in the NFL.
