April 1st. WrestleMania 28.
Undertaker vs Triple H in a Hell in a Cell match, with Shawn Michaels as guest referee.
The end of an era.
Undertaker's annual match on the biggest stage of them all has become a yearly fixture on the wrestling calendar for nearly two decades.
However, we all know that unless the (admittedly unpredictable) Creative team pulls one of the biggest swerves in WWE history, Undertaker will probably beat The Game to take 'The Streak' to an emphatically impressive 20-0.
A truly remarkable run, and a great way to bow out.
If WWE were to pull the plug on The Deadman and give the win to the Cerebral Assassin, it would undoubtedly ruin one of the greatest sporting achievements ever, as well as leaving a sour taste in the fans' mouths.
There is no way that Vince McMahon is that stupid, so as much as he tries to convince us that Triple H has a chance of winning, I think we all realise that Taker will emerge victorious.
But how is he going to do it?
Now, it can't just be me who thinks that this following scenario will unfold: Shawn Michaels will somehow screw Triple H during the match, leading to Undertaker winning, and therefore setting up a feud between the former best friends.
It just seems so obvious!
The tension between the two men has been building in the past few weeks, with Undertaker rubbing it in Triple H's face that Shawn is better than him (which, to be honest, he is). Last week's Raw ended on a shot of the two friends standing uneasily in the ring.
So for me, it seems that these seeds of doubt will eventually culminate in HBK turning on HHH at Wrestlemania.
This has both pros and cons.
On the positive side, the two veterans could put on one hell of a match, which, like The Rock vs Cena last year, could be set 12 months in advance for Wrestlemania 29.
Having two legends of wrestling face off on the biggest night of them all would be quite something.
However, on the negative side, a Shawn Michaels/Triple H feud setup would tarnish the reputation of 'The Streak' as well as tainting Undertaker's victory somewhat.
We have also seen the two men face off numerous times before, albeit not for a while. Why not give someone else a chance against the two?
Although it would take one hell of a build to get him back to a respectable spot, Triple H vs Drew McIntyre, in my opinion, would be awesome.
Even Shawn Michaels versus the likes of CM Punk, Dolph Ziggler or Sheamus would be better than another match against The Game.
So what do you think? Is it really as obvious as I believe it's going to be? Let me know in the comments below.
One thing's for sure—Wrestlemania 28 is going to be very, very interesting.
And that's the bottom line, cos Colin Stone said so!
