Sorry boys! Tennis stunner Maria Sharapova is going to be officially off the market come November 10th. She's dated Sasha Vujacic for what seems like forever and the couple has been engaged for 18 months, and finally the long awaited wedding has a date.
The tennis star and one-time Laker originally planned to wed three months earlier in August, but decided to postpone because of the London Olympics and Sharapova's Grand Slam scheduling.
Now the wedding will be in Istanbul, which is currently where Vujacic plays basketball for Anadolu Efes. According to reports by the Turkish media, the couple chose Istanbul because of the city's scenic beauty and less costly amenities.
Positives aside, Istanbul almost didn't make the cut. Sharapova reportedly loves the city itself, but is upset and saddened by the number of stray dogs that roam the streets. Can't blame her there—roaming packs of feral dogs sound like the least romantic thing ever.
Anywho! Congrats to the happy couple.
