Despite Kenny Gabriel's senior season ending earlier this month, Auburn University fans will get another chance to see the high-flying forward dunk once more before his professional career kicks off.

Tuesday, Gabriel was selected for the State Farm Slam Dunk and 3-Point Championship.

The event will take place Thursday, March 29 in Tulane's Fogelman Arena at 8 pm CT on ESPN, prior to the Final Four in New Orleans.

The 24th annual event will give Gabriel a chance to show off his dunking skills against some of the best in the nation. He said:

It is an honor because I never thought that I would be able to be in a dunk contest for college...I am glad that I got the opportunity to do it. I hope to go down there and win it. I'm starting to work on my repertoire now.

Numerous notable current and former NBA players will be in attendance including Gary Payton, Steve Nash, Allan Houston and six current members of the 2012 Harlem Globetrotters, including last year's Denny's Dunk Contest winner, Jacob Tucker.

Fans at home will have the opportunity to enjoy the ESPN broadcast team of Brad Nessler, Dan Dakich, Jimmy Dykes and Shannon Spake.

ESPN has announced the event will rerun numerous times on several of their networks.
