Though the NBA’s powerhouses are still a ways away from clinching postseason berths, I think we can all agree that certain teams are all but guaranteed to play into May.

In the West, the teams I’ve already penciled in are the Oklahoma City Thunder, San Antonio Spurs, Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers, Dallas Mavericks and Memphis Grizzlies.

Over in the East, I have the Chicago Bulls, Miami Heat, Orlando Magic, Philadelphia 76ers, Indiana Pacers and Atlanta Hawks.

While these franchises duke it out for home-court advantage, a group of teams on the fringe will be fighting for the final playoff spots in both conferences.

The No. 7 and No. 8 seeds in the East and West are very much up for grabs, but which teams will snatch up the final spots, and who will face an early offseason?

In the video above, I offer up my playoff predictions with a little over a month remaining in the NBA regular season.
