How does this happen?
It seems as we get closer to WrestleMania, many wrestlers are airing out their thoughts or are taking the side of either The Rock or John Cena.
I guess it makes sense, but here we are almost a week out from the "Grandaddy of Them All," and now the most unlikely character is weighing in.
According to wrestlinginc.com:
Hornswoggle posted a photo of "I'm sorry" written on his wrist this afternoon and said he just had a talk with The Rock. This was his way of apologizing after he made the following comments back on March 12th:
"Glad @TheRock needs to sing karaoke to get his (expletive) in. @JohnCena will always be a true professional, doesn't need scripted lines, bullet points, or #stupidsrxualinuendos like @TheRock"
The Rock wrote the following today, in response to Hornswoggle's apology:
"@wwehornswoggle Thank U but not needed. Its what friends do - talk it out. Plus, if U took a swing at me you'd hit my balls. #NoBallShots"
Apparently the two have hugged it out and are letting bygones be bygones. I personally would love to have seen this mini-feud make air. Chances are it would have been entertaining and more importantly would have given Hornswoggle something to do.
I do find it interesting that Hornswoggle apologized and wonder if it was genuine or if the WWE forced his hand. I guess in the end we may never know. Especially considering no one was really hurt by this exchange.
