According to Jay Glazer of Fox Sports, NFL phenom Tim Tebow has been traded to the New York Jets from the Denver Broncos in exchange for a fourth-round draft pick.

Glazer Tweeted:

: Breaking news: Ny Jets have just traded a 4th round pick for Tim Tebow

The acquisition of Tebow only backs up the doubts that surround the ability of current Jets QB, Mark Sanchez, and will only stir up more controversy on a Jets team already full of controversy.

Adding a quarterback with doubted skills with another quarterback with doubted skills is a puzzling move, but it shows that the Jets are not going all in with Sanchez, as reports came out after the 2011 season was over about the team not being fully confident in Sanchez's abilities.

Bringing Tebow to the Big Apple will be a big deal as far as his endorsements go, as many of the top sports stars look to land in New York or Los Angeles to make money outside of the sport they play.

Tebow's signing comes on the heels of Jets defensive back, Antonio Cromartie, expressing he didn't want Tebow on board.

Cromartie Tweeted:

We don't need Tebow. We sell out every home game let him go to Jacksonville Tampa or Miami. Our wildcat offense can b ran by J. Kerley or Joe McKnight we straight

This is evidence that the Jets signing Tebow will cause a stir in the locker room, creating a bigger headache for Jets coach Rex Ryan.

One thing is for sure: The media sensation they call Tebow will be as big as ever in New York and we can all sit back and watch the drama unfold this season, as there are sure to be fireworks on and off the field for the Jets in the coming months.
