Wrestling fans are hoping that Jim Ross will be at the announce table for the biggest event in professional wrestling, WrestleMania XXVIII.

But if he is in fact not appearing at the "Super Bowl" of pro wrestling, then fans will have to grin and bear the sub-par announcing of Michael Cole and Booker T.

Recently on Ross' website JRsBarBQ.com he spoke about various topics, including the rumours circulating throughout the wrestling world of Matt Bloom (A-Train) signing with the WWE.

Here are some excerpts:

Ross on the Matt Bloom rumors:

Is A Train returning to WWE? I first heard about Matt Bloom perhaps returning to WWE online and I have zero talks with WWE or the talent about this rumor. The talent says that he isn't. I don't know but I signed Matt originally and hold him in high regard. Big, smart, and athletic. He would be a good 'get' if he's interested.

Ross commented on if he would ever work in TNA:

Will you ever go to TNA? I wish them the best and hope that they achieve success and profitability but I have no interest in working there. I'm a WWE guy and when that's over with I'll explore other non wrestling options.

Ross also commented on the rumored WrestleMania match order:

Will the WWE Title bout go on last at WM28? Not this year in my view. That's Rock vs. Cena's spot or so it would seem. I hope that the WWE Title bout goes on somewhat early so that there's less likely to be any timing issues on Punk vs. Jericho.

Hopefully Ross will be calling matches at WrestleMania XXVIII. He has been off of WWE TV since October 2011 when he was fired by interim RAW General Manager John Laurinaitis.

It is not known why Ross is off of WWE TV, or why he has been "fired" on several occasions during the last few years. Bottom line is, WrestleMania without Jim Ross is like the steak without the 'sizzle.'
