Phil Brown, the Hull City manager has tabled an undisclosed bid to bring the Sunderland Skipper Dean Whitehead to the KC Stadium.
Brown spoke after Hull City's 1-0 victory over Newcastle, in a radio interview. He stated that he had identified the Black Cat's Captain Whitehead as the sort of player that can strengthen the Hull City team.
Brown went on to say, "we have identified probably four or five players and Dean is one of them. As I have said, we have made enquiries and they will be ongoing during the month of January."
