Saku Koivu and Carey Price did not skate at today's practice.  Both players are still out with ankle injuries.  If Price doesn't play before the NHL All Star Game, Montreal head coach Guy Carbonneau would recommend to Price not to attend the game.

"He's an intelligent person and I hope he will have that in mind," Carbonneau said. "It's his decision. If he can't be on the ice this weekend and can't be part of a game on Tuesday or Wednesday, I don't see why he would play in this game—re-injuring his leg and be out another month."

Georges Laraque, Mathieu Dandenault, and Christopher Higgins were skating before the team's practice.

In other news, Vincent Lecavalier would not refuse a trade to the Montreal Canadiens, according to RDS.ca.  RDS asked Kent Hughes, Lecavalier's agent, if Vincent Lecavalier would refuse a trade to the Canadiens.  The agent's answer was simple—no.
