The Charlotte Bobcats went on the road to face one of the hardest teams in the Eastern Conference, the Detroit Pistons at the Palace of Auburn Hills.

The Bobcats had to give everything they got to pull out the eventual 80-78 victory against Detroit.

The tone was set by two Charlotte veterans, Raymond Felton and Gerald Wallace. The Bobcats trimmed a 10 point deficit to comeback and win.

Raymond Felton could not have done a better job than he did last night. Felton scored 23 points and had nine total assists. Gerald Wallace recorded a double-double scoring 18 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Emeka Okafur even put up 13 points and grabbed nine rebounds.

The offense was not the only thing going for Charlotte.

The defense held Richard Hamilton to only ten points and Allen Iverson to 13. Iverson also turned the ball over four times which led into Bobcat points.

Guard Ronald Stuckey led Detroit with 22 points and five assists.

With the win, Charlotte improves to 15-24 and Detroit falls to 22-14.

Charlotte is fourth in the Southeast and is riding a two game winning streak. They sit at 13th in the conference with plenty of games left to be played.
