With Vanderbilt trailing Wisconsin early in the second half, Jeffery Taylor decided to channel his inner Kemba Walker.
The senior had a tough day shooting the ball (4-of-11), but it appears that seeing your defender fall to the ground in front of you really helps the shooting touch.
Taylor caught the ball at the top of the key, took one dribble to his right, crossed over to his left, watched his defender crumble to the floor like his legs were made of Jell-O, stepped back behind the arc and drilled the three.
Easy as 1-2-3.
From Wisconsin's point of view, this is easily the most embarrassing play that will happen all tournament, but the Badgers got the last laugh.
Wisconsin outlasted Vandy by a score of 60-57 to move to the Sweet 16.
I think Bo Ryan and his squad will take 10 of these plays every game if it means they come out with the win every time.
Nonetheless, this was an amazing play by a very talented player in Taylor (rhyme intended).
Whenever I'm feeling sad about my defense at the local gym, I'll just go ahead and watch this video. Then I won't feel so bad anymore.
So, I'm sorry you lost, Vanderbilt (I had you in my bracket, jerks). But thank you for providing me with this delicious crossover video.
