It is hard to believe we're finished with the first day of the third-round of the 2012 NCAA tournament.
The first game is in the books. The Murray State Racers (6) took a tough loss as the Marquette Golden Eagles (3) ran away with it at the very end and won 62-53.
The New Mexico Lobos (5) lost to the Louisville Cardinals (4) 59-56 in a closely contested and extremely sloppy game.
Thank you all for following along with me as I tracked these games all evening.
Have a safe night out with your friends and check back tomorrow afternoon as I'll be covering the other two third-round games in the West region.
