It's now time for the championship rounds to start for the NFL playoffs. Here's a look at the two games that will produce league representatives for the Super Bowl. Please feel free to leave your game picks and comments below as well.
Baltimore Ravens vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
These are two very good football teams and there is no doubt in my mind that one of these teams will be the Super Bowl champion.
Pittsburgh comes into this game rolling and as probably the top AFC team coming into the playoffs. The thing is, they just didn't impress me that much. They should have beaten up on the Chargers and didn't.
Baltimore, meanwhile, had one of their worst defensive games of the year and still came out with the win. I think that this is a very close game, but in the end the Ravens get it done and advance to the Super Bowl, and most likely, a Super Bowl Championship.
Prediction: Baltimore 24, Pittsburgh 23
Philadelphia Eagles vs. Arizona Cardinals
Congrats to the Eagles for beating the Giants last week, but in all reality, they should have won by a lot more. The Giants played horribly, but the Eagles were sloppy and Donovan McNabb had by far one of his worst games in a while. Also, as it has been the past few weeks, the running game couldn't get anything going either.
The Cardinals, on the other hand, come into this game rolling after a huge upset win in Carolina. They now face a tougher test, but I think they can handle it. Arizona was fabulous against the run and the pass and are turning themselves into an elite defense very quickly. I think that this new Cardinals defense that we're seeing plus an explosive offense plus a home crowd will all equal out to an Arizona victory.
Prediction: Arizona 34, Philadelphia 20
