Notre Dame fans have been anxious to see their beloved Fighting Irish back in a BCS bowl game. This year may be that season that propels them back onto a national stage after having a great season.
The parts are all there to have that great season.
For starters, they begin their season overseas in Dublin, Ireland. Plus, playing a school like Navy to start the season is much better than starting off against a BCS school like South Florida.
From there, the Irish’s schedule isn’t too rough, with games against Purdue, Michigan State, Miami (FL), Pittsburgh, Wake Forest, Boston College and BYU.
But for all of the easier games, Notre Dame does have some tough tests this year. They have to travel to Ann Arbor to play Denard Robinson and Michigan. Then they have to travel to Norman, Oklahoma to take on OU.
And finally, the Fighting Irish end their season with a tough road test in Southern California against USC.
So give a watch as I give my thoughts on how Notre Dame’s 2012 season will pan out.
