Talks seem to be heating up between the Tennessee Titans and free agent quarterback Peyton Manning

According to ESPN, the team's doctor arrived at the facility over an hour ago and was just seen leaving the facility at around 9:10 p.m. Generally speaking, team doctors are not usually contacted and asked to evaluate a player unless things have progressed to a very serious level.

This could be huge news for Tennessee Titans fans, as talks with Manning and Titans officials have been going on since approximately 2:00 p.m., when the Titans flew into Raleigh/Durham airport in North Carolina to pick up Manning and transport him to Nashville.

With owner Bud Adams publicly saying that he will do whatever it takes to land Peyton Manning (he even ordered Maggiano's delivery for Manning and Titans officials during their meeting), it would not be surprising if he made an offer too good to resist, causing talks to turn from an informative meeting to one involving negotiation.

It seems as if those involved in meetings with Manning are slowly trickling out of the facility, with offensive line coach Bruce Matthews just seen leaving. Stay posted for any happenings.

Would it be safe to say that the Tennessee Titans appear to be the front-runners to sign Peyton Manning?
