Transfer Rumors & Realities: Extraordinary Transfer Buzz

Rumors & Realities is out of extraordinary ideas. So here goes another ordinary article from what we call "serious humor". It ain't serious and the humor is doubtful, but here goes a try.

Will it be? It is! It's Cristiano Ronaldo and he is the best player in the world? So what's new?

Cristiano Ronaldo might be on his way to Real Madrid in the summer according to reporters who have made the most of the washed-up and increasingly boring transfer saga.

Argentina coach Diego Maradona has advised Carlos Tevez to leave Manchester United for Inter. Maradona said Leo Messi is a better player than he was.

Maradona said he would have played for Inter. So does he want Messi at Inter? The Argentina coach is rumored to have taken a part-time job as an Inter scout.

Harry Redknapp wants to cash in on Gareth Bale with Nicky Shorey a potential replacement.

Blackburn want Gael Givet on loan. The Marseille defender is set for a move away after Givet's poor form recently. Givet has heard of Allardyce's magic.

West Brom are weighing up a move for Greek international striker Angelos Charisteas who was extraordinary in Greece's successful Euro 2004 bid.

West Ham tell Manchester City it will take 'extraordinary bid' to land stars. Extraordinary bids? Doesn't sound like City though.

Manchester City have sent a delegate to Italy to try and sign Milan's Kaka. Time for something extraordinary.

Manchester City are expected to agree an improved £12 million deal to sign West Ham striker Craig Bellamy this week. An extraordinary bid for an ordinary player.

Meanwhile Manchester United will move to scupper Liverpool's attempts to lure Brazilian defender Anderson from Fluminense. To be able to do so, United need to offer something extraordinary.

United and Liverpool will battle for his signature until City realize they do have some spare cash.

Tottenham will offer some of their relegation stars for Wigan midfielder Wilson Palacios. Palacios has been on an extraordinary form.

There are no safe players at Wigan and not because of the over-speeding drunk-drivers. Real Madrid have denied chasing Amr Zaki, but it's Real Madrid and they're always chasing everybody.

Tottenham want Sunderland striker Kenwyne Jones. The reason behid the interest? R-R still doesn't get it.

Newcastle midfielder Geremi has emerged as a serious target for Besiktas, while £4m-rated Porto's ordinary tattooed midfielder Raul Meireles could go the other way.

Birmingham have told Rangers striker Kris Boyd to lower his extraordinary wage demands.

Palermo midfielder Mark Bresciano is said to be attracting interest from Fulham, Middlesbrough, Blackburn and Newcastle. From what R-R hears with its eight ears (yes, R-R is an alien-like creature), Bresciano is an extraordinary player.

The January window has not been up to the hot expectations, but Manchester City can change that around and make of this month an extraordinary one.

Until we meet again,

Extraordinary cheers!
