After the former must-see WWE champion lost his chance to be a part of WrestleMania after losing to CM Punk, the Miz is running out of chances, as we are just 19 days away from the big show in Miami on April 1.

Instead of being part of the Team Teddy Long vs. Team John Laurinaitis tag team match at WrestleMania, the WWE has some much bigger plans for Miz than most people would expect during the event in a few weeks.

From SEScoops:

There continues to be a lot of speculation regarding The Miz’s role at WrestleMania 28. Miz, who successfully defended the WWE title against John Cena in the main event of last year’s show, is rumored to be involved in this year’s Rock vs. Cena match in some capacity. WWE is said to have a storyline ready for The Miz after WrestleMania and his recent losing streak is part of the buildup to that angle.

With all the hype the WWE has given the Rock/Cena match at WrestleMania, I can’t tell you how big of a mistake this is for the company by inserting Miz into this match when it should be just a one-on-one affair.

Even though it looks like a horrible idea on paper, it does make sense for the Miz to be involved in this match, after what happened at WrestleMania 27 last year in the WWE Championship match between Miz and Cena in Atlanta.

While Miz retained his WWE title over Cena, the Awesome One didn’t get to celebrate his triumphant moment to end the show, as he was on the receiving end of a People’s Elbow from the Rock to the delight of the fans inside the Georgia Dome.

Even though the Miz has been scrambling after a long losing streak due to being in the WWE’s doghouse, I think he should be a part of WrestleMania in some kind of match instead of pulling some of the spotlight away from the main event between Rock and Cena.

The best plan would be for the WWE to insert Miz into the aforementioned Long/Laurinaitis tag team match and make him one of the best performing members of Johnny Ace's team at WrestleMania, even the team loses on April 1.

So Bleachers, what do you think of the inclusion of the Miz into the Rock/Cena match at WrestleMania?
