The evolution of Randy Orton's Legacy seems to take a different turn every week. At first it was the combination of Orton, Rhodes, and Manu. Then it looked to include Sim Snuka. Later Manu was kicked out and one week later, Snuka followed suit.
Just when you thought it was just going to consist of Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes, the road that this Legacy is taking began another big shake-up.
Sim Snuka and Manu were both furious about being kicked out of Orton's group. They came to Cody Rhodes and warned him that they were coming after Orton. They gave him the opportunity to join them. They also claimed that they had another second generation Superstar there to help.
I was thinking this second generation Superstar was going to be D.H. Smith due to the internet rumors I have been reading this week. Word is out that Smith will be moving to Raw from F.C.W. to play some sort of role in Orton's Legacy.
So just when I thought that I had it all figured out, they through another curve ball at us.
It wasn't D.H. Smith but rather a returning Ted DiBiase Jr. The last time we saw him was when Randy Orton punted him in the head months ago, claiming to "kick some sense into him" for interfering in Orton's return match.
Was Rhodes going to aid Orton or face the combination of DiBiase, Snuka, and Manu? Instead we saw both Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase help Randy Orton beat down Sim Snuka and Manu.
Both Rhodes and DiBiase performed their respective finishers on their opponents as Randy Orton and The Legacy walked away, arms held high as the future of Raw.
The rumors are that the WWE is planning to throw a lot of curve balls at WWE fans regarding this storyline. It will be interesting to see what is going to happen in the coming weeks.
As of now, we know that Orton, Rhodes, and DiBiase are all entered into the 2009 Royal Rumble. If "Orton's Children" (as I've dubbed them) can help Randy win the Rumble, all of us fans will be treated to the very best main event possible.
Randy Orton vs. John Cena at Wrestlemania 25.
