With Casa de mi Padre set to hit theaters this Friday, March 16th, comedy superstar Will Ferrell sat down with Andrea Feczko (Barely Political) and Bleacher Report to talk about his role in the film, Jeremy Lin and Manny Pacquiao.
In the film, Ferrell plays Armando Alvarez, a rancher who has worked on his father’s land in Mexico for years and is forced to save the family and the ranch, both of which are being threatened by Mexican drug lords.
One of the movie’s most hilarious scenes features a musical ensemble, consisting of Ferrell and other cast members, but the actor tells Bleacher Report that his favorite duet came with Manny Pacquiao. The two sang the Beatle hit “Imagine”, earlier in 2011.
Ferrell also analyzes the basketball exploits of “Linsanity”, Jeremy Lin, against that of his character Jackie Moon from Semi Pro. Spoiler alert: Ferrell thinks Lin would beat Moon one-on-one, but you’ll have to watch the interview to know why.
Oh, and Will Ferrell has a threat for those who don’t subscribe to Bleacher Report on YouTube! Hear what he has to say.
