The Chicago Bulls have the the best record in the NBA. Even through their many injuries they have managed to compete at a high level due to their strong depth. However, with the trade deadline approaching, the team is not above any trade rumors. Many have doubts of whether they can beat the Miami Heat or not.

There have not been many Bulls trade rumors but the few out there have the opportunity to shake up the roster in a big way. Here are four trade rumors in order of importance that the Bulls are involved in.

Trade rumor No. 4: Trading C.J. Watson

While C.J. Watson has proven to be a quality backup point guard for the Chicago Bulls, he has also proven to be a valuable trade piece. Many teams are looking for consistent point guard help and John Lucas III has proven he can come into the game and provide valuable backup minutes at the position.

C.J Watson is in the middle of a three-year $10.2 million contract. The Bulls could look to trade for more insurance for Richard Hamilton.

Trade rumor No. 3, Acquiring Stephen Jackson

Stephen Jackson is in a place where he has been in on many NBA teams before: the doghouse. However, he also was an intricate part of a San Antonio Spurs 2003 Championship run. The Bucks are looking to dump his salary and he openly expressed his interest last week in playing with the Bulls.

What do you think the Bulls will do at the trade deadline?

Chicago has a strong enough locker room and coaching staff to keep Jackson focused for a playoff run and he could provide valuable insurance for the often injured Richard Hamilton. The question is do they want him?

Trade rumor No. 2: Trading for Pau Gasol

Before Pau Gasol was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers in 2008 the Bulls had a chance to get the All-Star but Chairman Jerry Reinsdorf refused to pay the luxury tax because he didn't think the move made them a championship contender. Now it does.

A couple weeks ago Chris Sheridan reported reigning MVP Derrick Rose quietly went to management expressing his interest in playing with Gasol. The Bulls would love to put together a package around Carlos Boozer and other pieces if the Lakers are game.

Thus far the Lakers have turned down deals for Gasol, including one for point guard Rajon Rondo.

Can the Bulls put together the right package?

Trade rumor No. 1: Dwight Howard

Rumors have run rampant for quite some time now surrounding Dwight Howard. He has let it be known he prefers the L.A. markets, Brooklyn or even Dallas as a potential landing spot.

Ken Berger of CBSSports.com reports the Magic like the Bulls' assets the most out of any team. He mentioned a deal could get done if the Bulls included Carlos Boozer, Luol Deng, Omer Asik and Charlotte's first round protected (unprotected by 2016) draft pick for Howard and Hedo Turkoglu.

The only hold up is a major one: It's Dwight Howard.

Whether it's a shoe deal or cold weather, there is some reason why Howard does not want to come to Chicago. Both teams would love to do the deal, but it is going to take some serious convincing to get Howard to sign off.
