Max Siegel Being Booted by Earnhardt Ganassi Racing?

Every time I hear the words "I want to do what's best for the team," I can only assume we are speaking of a graceful exit.

In other words, you're out! Let's discuss your severance pay.

Max Siegel's exit might be part of the cutbacks most teams are making. Just guessing, I don’t have any breaking news.

If he does leave EGR , will the only African-American in a Cup team leadership role be out of NASCAR, or will he seek another job in this series?

The impact of Siegel on NASCAR was minimal, to say the least. That's too bad. For all his accomplishments, he will probably be remembered most for not being able to put together a deal to keep Dale Earnhardt, Jr. with DEI.

Earnhardt Jr. simply drove a stake through DEI’s heart when he left them. The team seemed destined to fail without the Junior Nation behind it.

Now, with the Ganassi merger and three very good drivers, this new team can forget about Earnhardt Jr. and move on to greener pastures.
