With the ACC tournament down to the finals, the excitement is growing for what could be the most exciting final in recent history.

While the North Carolina Tar Heels are the perennial college hoops powerhouse, it will be the Florida State Seminoles who have the advantage. Not only did FSU beat UNC earlier in the season, they had to knock off Duke to get to this game.

This is shaping up to be an all-out war.

While there is going to be stellar matchups all over the floor, the biggest matchup to keep an eye on will be in the backcourt when UNC standout Kendall Marshall goes against Florida State’s Michael Snaer.

Marshall is more of a distributor, but he will have to worry about defensive abilities and power that Snaer possess. On the offensive end, Snaer will be driving the lane and could get Marshall in foul trouble early if he plays solid inside basketball.

This game will come down to which team’s backcourt can get the upper hand. It’s as simple as that.

Prediction: UNC 77, FSU 74
