The Louisville Cardinals are the 2011-12 Big East champions, as they took down the Cincinnati Bearcats 50-44 in what was not an easy game for either team.

Both teams had their share ugly plays, but in the end it wasn't about who was pretty, but who could score.

The Bearcats definitely showed that they have the potential to comeback in any situation with the Big Dance around the corner, but it is the Cardinals who made a convincing statement as they prepare to play for a national title.
