Jamaal Franklin lived up to his star quality, draining an off-balance three-pointer to give the San Diego State Aztecs the win.

Everybody knew the ball was going to him, and despite being bombarded, Franklin took the shot just before the buzzer. When it went in, the roar of the crowd was exceptional, as well as the emotion seen from the San Diego State players.

The Mountain West Conference Player of the Year put the team on his back—something he'll have to continue to do throughout March.

The Aztecs are in prime position to get a good seed in the NCAA tournament, a place they're starting to become familiar with.

Franklin scored 19 points in the victory against Boise State. He and the rest of his team will now prepare to square off against the Colorado State Rams.

San Diego State split their season series against Colorado, so expect another thriller at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Aztecs will lean on Franklin as they try to win their third straight MWC title. It's not going to be easy, though, because the Rams are poised and ready to pull off the upset.

Look for Franklin to step up once again and lead the way for San Diego State. The Aztecs will go as far as Franklin takes them, and it's a good sign he's staying on this big hot-streak.
