The controversial superstar Luis Suarez has been linked with a move to French giants Paris Saint-Germain, according to The Daily Mail.

His form, although phenomenal at times, is overshadowed by his unsportsmanlike behaviour.

He was banned for eight games earlier in the year after supposed racial abuse towards Manchester United player Patrice Evra.

PSG are currently topping the Ligue 1 table with Carlo Ancelotti at the helm, but PSG president Qatari billionaire Nasser Al Khelaifi has insisted he wants to add more players to his already star-studded team.

Nasser Al Khelaifi has stated this week that PSG are interested in Liverpool’s Luis Suarez and Real Madrid’s Gonzalo Higuain:

"It is true we want Luis Suarez and Gonzalo Higuain."

This statement was followed by another bold one, stating how much investment he is willing to put in to the Paris-based club:

"We will spend what is normal for a top-class club. We prefer to invest a lot and immediately. In the next five or six years, we still spend this amount. Then the investments will slow."

These normal investments that he speaks of are rumoured to be in the range of €100 million per season.

PSG could be the perfect place to escape for Luis Suarez as he has been constantly under scrutiny during his time in England.

A great player with somewhat of a bad attitude to the game, if he picked up his scoring rate he may be able to be classified as one of the best strikers in Europe.
