Aside from the Yankee-affiliated handles and Yankee players, there are a handful of Twitter accounts that every fan should be following.
These guys are either established beat writers, fan sites or just crazy fans. Check them out.
If you have any suggestions, leave them in the comments below.
Marc Carig is the Yankee beat writer for the Star Ledger in New Jersey. Marc provides the perfect amount of headlines and breaking news, accompanied by comedy and great posts. Definitely one of my favorites.
Follow him @ledger_yankees.
Wally Matthews is a top-notch baseball reporter. He writes for ESPN, specifically on ESPN New York. Maybe not as entertaining as Carig, but just as informative. Since he's with ESPN, he has premium access to the people you want to hear from.

Mark is the Yankee beat reporter for the New York Daily News. Not only does Mark provide play-by-play tweets, but he also writes great feature stories on the Bombers.

Sweeny is the Yankee reporter for WFAN in New York. He's a guest on Mike Francesa quite often, so if you listen to his show you've most likely heard him. Sweeny is another great beat reporter who gets great stories and angles on everything Yankees.

Last, but not least, we have Bald Vinny. Vinny isn't a beat writer like the other guys, but he is definitely a must-follow. Vinny is the leader of the infamous Bleacher Creatures at Yankee Stadium. Vinny has a unique view on everything Yankees, and being so popular, he has his fair share of contacts. Aside from that, he has some pretty classic shirts that he has been selling outside the stadium for years.
