Everton V's Hull City - Goodison Park, Liverpool, England. Saturday 15:00pm GMT.
Sixth placed Everton will be in for a tough game against eighth placed Hull City this afternoon at Goodison Park. In the last meeting at the Kingston Communication Stadium, Hull, the Everton team struggled for much of the game and only found their feet in the last 10-15 minutes of the game to force a well deserved draw.
The Tigers went into a two goal lead from a Michael Turner headed set piece and an own goal from Phil Neville only to see it slip away with two goals in 5 minutes from a resurgent Everton with Tim Cahill and Leon Osman the Everton goal scorers.
The Toffeemen are able to call on the services of midfielder Segundo Castillo who has recovered from his Hamstring injury, Victor Anichebe, Tim Cahill and Marouane Fellaini are also back from injury. and will be hoping to make more than the squad for today's game.
The Tigers who made some very big changes for last weekends FA Cup clash against Newcastle look more likely to revert to type and recall Boaz Myhill, Kamil Zayette, Bernard Mendy, Ian Ashbee and Nick Barmby who will be making his first appearance at Goodison Park in a Hull City shirt since leaving the Goodison outfit for for their local rivals Liverpool in 2000.
Hull City will be without the Andy Dawson (achilles), Anthony Gardner (thigh) and Caleb Folan (knee) who are expected to be fit in the near future.
On current form the Everton team would be expect to win handsomely but the Tigers kept a clean sheet against Newcastle United and were unlucky not to gain a victory against the Magpies. The Tigers were also out of lucky against Aston Villa when Kamil Zayette scored in his own net under pressure.
