College football has its ebbs and flows. One year a team could win their conference and play in a BCS bowl game. However, that next year, that same team could fall of the face of the college football world and finish 6-7.

These five teams on this list last year had seasons that left them with a feeling of wanting more.

There are two teams on this list that have running backs that they have to keep healthy for an entire season. Both teams' offenses rely on their high level of play and if healthy, will have a huge season.

The other teams on this list have made bowl games last season but could have made a run at their conference title. Instead, they either had a losing streak that ended any chance at a conference title, or lost in the conference championship game.

These five teams are set to explode in 2012.
