Brian Cushing is one of the top linebackers in college football he's got great speed he can chase down the speedy running backs, he hits hard as well, and a running quarterback is more adept at sliding instead of taking a vicious hit from Cushing.

Rey Maualuga is the best linebacker in the country and opposing running backs, wide receivers on quick slants, and running quarterbacks have to know where Maualuga is at all times otherwise they may have their head taken off on a vicious hit.

He's also good at getting after the quarterback and tackling running backs behind the line of scrimmage.

Yes, both teams have had one loss and they were both close ball games although, it was USC that didn't really show up until the end of the game against Oregon State and Florida lost by one point to Mississippi.

USC would have rather easily beat the Florida Gators. The Gators should be thanking the BCS computers for matching them up with the Sooners because there's no way that the Sooners defense comes close to the Trojans.
