Humor, Golf, Men's Golf, Tiger Woods

Normally, give me Tiger Woods and I'm good for four rounds of network coverage.

But Sunday, as Woods claimed his 5th consecutive worldwide event, I realized that I'm bored with Tiger's dominance.

He now owns all three of the World Golf Championships, and a Grand Slam seems inevitable this year.

So how can we make this golf season more interesting?

Why don't we start by seizing his private jet?  Make the Buick spokesman drive from event-to-event in a Lucerne.

When Tiger wears red on Sunday, unleash a herd of bulls.  Turn Pebble Beach into Pamplona.

Maybe PGA Tour officials should wait until Tiger reaches the green before deciding where to cut the hole.

Whatever needs to be done, let's do it before the Masters.  And speaking of Augusta, what if Tiger had to wear a green jacket to win the green jacket?

Let's see him play 72 holes in a 42 Long.

  1. How about if we made the hole moveable?

    1. He'd probably still find a way to hole out in four strokes...that's how amazing he is.

  2. Abundant performance enhancing drugs for all players not named Tiger? Wait, he'd still be stronger and in better shape...

  3. That gave me a good chuckle :)

He truly is on another level...he's just unreal

  4. i wonder if he was arnie, jack, or phil...would we get tired of him, just a thought...

  5. I think I saw his caddy with a video camera pointed at Phil Mickelson during warm-ups.

  6. Pair him up with Happy Gilmore at the next Pro-Am

  7. Make him wear multiple layers at Augusta?

  8. Now THAT was funny!

  9. is that an attempt to make this an article about race?

  10. tiger woods is amazing. he'd still manage to score low w/ moving holes! you can force him to use left-handed clubs and he'll turn em around and still win. he scares me.

  11. Maybe tiger should start playing mini golf, he hasn't won anything yet in that catégory

    1. Maybe he should just start palying with mini golf putters to even it up. Let's see how far he can drive the ball with one of those!

  12. Sounds good. Let's jinx him.

Put his picture on the cover of every issue of Sports Illustrated.
and on the cover of Madden '09...

Then every tournament, he will be required to tee off from under a ladder wearing a Cubs hat while a black cat crosses his path.

None of this will work, but I say let's try it

  13. Did someone mention a black cat? Oh my god, couple of the previous commenters were correct. This was an attempt to write an article about race!

    1. I believe the comment you are talking about was about a previous comment, not the article.

  14. I'm not even sure if he's as talented as John Daly--what if he has to play drunk or at least do terrible things into the night before he plays.

  15. could not agree more. i cannot stand tiger. the only time i root for him is the ryder cup, and he usually plays like crap then.

  16. I hate Tiger...i would enjoy golf a lot more if someone new won once in awhile.

    1. You say you would rather watch someone else win, but I have serious doubts that if you kept watching unknowns like Trevor Immelman win the Masters that it wouldn't get boring.

Without Tiger Woods, the PGA would be basically non-existent

  17. I don't really watch golf...i prefer real sports...interesting ones where the same people don't always win. Hell my team is now out of the playoffs, sometimes losing is a good thing. It makes you appreciate winning more.
