Will Five Minutes With Tim Tebow Change Your Life?

I'm not sure who the broadcaster was who said Tim Tebow would change your life if you could meet him for five minutes.

I'm all over that my friends. These are hard times in many people's lives, and if a 20+ year old kid who throws a football can change my life, all I and many others need to ask is, WHERE DO I GET IN LINE TO MEET THIS KID? I NEED TO CHANGE MY LIFE!

Don't get me wrong. I understand he is the kind of kid everybody would be proud to call son, but the idea that a kid who plays football can change your life in five minutes is silly. It makes me wonder about the quality of broadcasters these days—how do they come up with this stuff?

I can think of many folks or events that changed my long life.

When my favorite sister-in-law died of Cancer, that changed my life; when I meet a child with a terminal illness, that changes my life; when I meet old folks who talk about how they can't afford their medicine, that changes my life, dear friends. Meeting a kid who throws a football won't change my life—that is just my opinion.

Well! Does that broadcaster need to rethink his statement? I think so—how about you?

I'm sure that statement might've caused some embarrassment to Tim Tebow.

I hope Gator fans understand what I'm saying. I do understand he is a very good kid. God bless him.
