Defense Dominates The First Half Of BCS Title Game

After one half of play in the BCS title game, the story is the defense for both teams.

Oklahoma continues their string of take aways, intercepting 2 of Tim Tebow's passes.  They basically shut down Florida's running game only giving up one long run to Harvin.

Florida's red-zone defense again proves why it is one of the best.  On two straight plays from the goal line the defense denies Oklahoma the score. Then intercepts the ball on the 3, with only seconds left in the half, again denying Oklahoma any points.

Neither offense seemed to be able to get on track in the first half. Both moved the ball but allowed stupid and unnecessary penalties to stop them. Hopefully both teams will show a little more offense in the second half.
