Austin Collie Declares for NFL Draft

Jeremy@jeremymaussSenior Writer IJanuary 8, 2009

ESPN.com’s Joe Schad is reporting that BYU wide receiver Austin Collie is foregoing his senior season to jump to the NFL. There is no link now, but the message came via ESPN’s mobile alert to my cell phone.

I will post more information as it becomes available, including a link to the story. Collie is a stud receiver and had 11 straight games with 100 yards receiving, with 1,538 yards and 15 touchdowns.

UPDATE

Ksl.com is reporting this as well and a press conference is scheduled at 10:00am tomorrow morning at Legends Grille in Provo, UT.

If you like what you read be lazy and subscribe to The Mountain West Conference Connection by email or in your feeder.
