The NFL is great for fans of the game who want to watch the on-field antics.

It is also a fantastic source of eye candy.

Of course, it’s one thing to look. It’s quite another thing to know that many of the hottest, richest men on the field are also available bachelors.

So which famous players are fair game for would-be significant others? Keep clicking to find the 10 most eligible bachelors in the NFL.

Rob Gronkowski

A bit of a playboy and a definite party animal, Rob Gronkowski is the type of bachelor who will take some work to get settled down. With his all-American good looks and easy way with women, Gronkowski seemingly has no reason to stop playing the field any time soon.

On the other hand, Gronkowski is a catch who might just be worth the effort. His record-setting year in 2011 has boosted him into the type of football fame that few tight ends ever experience, and his annual salary is nothing to laugh at either.

Tim Tebow

One of the up-and-coming stars of the football world truly arrived in 2011 when Tim Tebow took over as the starting quarterback of the Denver Broncos.

There are many single, attractive, and well-paid NFL players out there, but Tebow has something that makes him really stand out. For many who might be interested in getting to know Tebow and becoming a part of his life, his religious faith is a huge plus.

Cam Newton

Another up-and-coming star in the NFL, Cam Newton made a big splash in 2011—so much so that he won the NFL Rookie of the Year award.

Add to that that he’s a genuinely nice, likable person who has been remarkably humble about his successful NFL debut, and you’ve got one heck of a guy. He’s also very close to his family, a quality that will make him even more attractive to many women.

Reggie Bush

Reggie Bush is not back together with ex-girlfriend Kim Kardashian. Really.

If that’s the truth, then Reggie Bush remains in the running for Most Eligible NFL Bachelor.

What hasn’t Bush got? Good looks—check. Nice smile—check. Entertaining personality—check. Lots of money—check. South Beach home—check!

Mark Sanchez

It’s possible that New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez may have a new girlfriend, but if he does then both parties are staying mum on the subject.

Since nothing has been confirmed, Sanchez is still considered an eligible bachelor from this author’s perspective.

Fans may run hot and cold on Sanchez as a quarterback, but as a significant other he’s got a lot of potential pluses. In addition to loads of money (which doesn’t really distinguish Sanchez from many other professional athletes), Sanchez also has GQ-quality looks and has reportedly been adventurous on the dating scene.

Dez Bryant

Dallas wide receiver Dez Bryant has a lot to offer a lady.

In addition to being a star player, he’s also smoking hot and has plenty of—well, let’s call it off-field personality.

He seems to be enjoying the single life, but that just makes the challenge that much more appealing.

Patrick Willis

Another eligible player who hasn’t shown any inclination to settle down (yet), Patrick Willis remains one of the best catches in the NFL.

His career has just entered its prime, so he brings the air of a seasoned veteran to the table, along with a lot of money. He’s also built in a way that many women will love.

Adrian Peterson

Easily one of the nicest players in the NFL to look at, Adrian Peterson is the stuff that dreams are made of, from a physical standpoint.

He also has a boatload of money and an awesome reputation as one of the best running backs in the NFL. His recent battle with injury has revealed a real optimistic and down-to-earth attitude as well.

Arian Foster

Arian Foster almost didn’t make it into the NFL. Signed by the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent in May of 2009, Foster would go on to become one of the leading running backs in the league.

Foster has spent so much time making a name for himself on the field that he hasn’t made much of a splash off the field.

All reports indicate that Foster hasn’t had a serious girlfriend in years, but that doesn’t mean he wouldn't be interested if the right person came along.

Golden Tate

Wide receiver Golden Tate of the Seattle Seahawks is perhaps one of the hottest young bachelors on the scene today.

He’s not just athletic—he is actually a dual-sport athlete who played baseball before he was in the NFL. He’s also smart, super sexy, and a good dresser to boot.
