Cristiano Ronaldo Video: Watch Real Madrid Star's Absurd Back Heel Goal
This fantastic finish was the only goal of the match as Madrid escaped with a slight victory to maintain their 10-point lead over rivals Barcelona in the La Liga table.
Off a corner kick from Madrid playmaker Mesut Ozil, Ronaldo found the ball and surprised the Vallecano squad by back heeling the ball instead of turning and firing like normal. It was a heads up play that really paid off for Ronaldo.
The Portuguese superstar did get a fair amount of luck since it was a bit surprising that the ball was able to move past so many players and not be touched as it found its way to the back of the net.
This was certainly a frustrating result for Vallecano, who played very well against one of the world's top clubs, but in the end were doomed by their inability to finish the many quality scoring chances they had.
With this stunning goal, Ronaldo has taken over the league led in goals with 29, two more than Barcelona star forward Lionel Messi.
