NFL Combine 2012: Robert Griffin III Weigh-in on Day 2 for NFL Draft 365

Day 2 of the 2012 NFL Scouting Combine is upon us and after a relatively quiet day on Thursday, today has already produced major news.
Heisman winner Robert Griffin III measured in over 6’2”, solidifying his status as a potential second overall pick. The only knock on RGIII prior to this morning was his size, but that doesn’t seem to be an issue anymore.
Griffin’s star will only rise after this news, and as a dual-threat quarterback, he is bolstered by the success of another Heisman Trophy winner, Cam Newton.
Today’s happenings may place some added pressure on the St. Louis Rams, who’ve been rumored to potentially trade their franchise quarterback Sam Bradford or trade the pick to a team looking for their own cornerstone piece in RGIII.
