Michael Beasley and Bill Walker had a combined total of 75 points Saturday night in Waco (Beasley's 44—new Division I freshman record—and Walker's 31), but it wasn't enough to boost Kansas State as Baylor pulled a 92-86 win over the 25th-ranked team.

Baylor (18-8, 6-6) snapped their 4-game losing streak and pumped up the crowd of thousands at the Ferrell Center as well as those watching on FSN Southwest.

Both Beasley and Walker got double-doubles for K-State, thanks to Walker's 11 rebounds to Beasley's 13, while Curtis Jerrells recorded Baylor's only double-double. Baylor's bench, which included freshman LaceDarius Dunn and former starter Aaron Bruce, put up 32 points to the Wildcats' 5, which proved to be a crucial factor. Aaron Bruce provided 11 points, his most in the last few games. Baylor is now 14-2 when Bruce scores in double digits.

In the final 10 minutes, Baylor went on a 16-7 run, including a couple of 3's from Jerrells. In the final few minutes, he missed a jumper, but was fouled and made both free throws. Kansas State would not score again after that, and as the clock wound down to zero, the crowd of 8,712 was on their feet and cheering for the boys of Baylor.

Baylor will go to Colorado on the 27th, and then will play their final home games as they host  Missouri on the 1st of March, before a highly-anticipated rematch on ESPN2 against Texas A&M, a team in which they upset in 5 overtimes in College Station late last month. Then they travel to Lubbock to take on Texas Tech in their final game of the season.

Can the Bears reclaim a ranking? Will they go on to the NCAA Tournament?

Stick around and find out.
