If you saw RAW a few weeks back in Toronto, you saw Trish Stratus make her return to the ring. Of course it was supposed to be a one time thing and was just a treat for the Toronto crowd.
But Jim Ross, SmackDown announcer had come out on his blog the day after and mentioned a chance that Stratus could be back around Wrestlemania time. Since it is the 25th anniversary of the event, many former superstars are set to be there.
And since Trish is a former WWE Diva she was planning on being there anyway. So why not be in a match right? Well many believe internally that Stratus did very well in her tag match with John Cena against Glamerella.
And they feel she would be great to have at Wrestlemania again. The creative team brought it up, and gave the idea for her vs Michelle McCool. Of course many thought Stratus versus Beth Phoenix would be better.
But after a thought they felt since she already had faced Beth it would have not been anything new for the fans to see. McCool has gone heel as of late, and would be able to face Stratus storyline wise.
The WWE wants McCool to be their No. 1 diva and she has been on SmackDown for some time. They also want more diva storylines too, so it would make sense for her be against one of the best divas of all time right?
The feeling is that Trish Stratus is good enough to get an above average match out of Michelle McCool. So with that said she would be considered a top diva as the WWE wants.
I think so too, the seven time Women's Champion would be a great person to face at Wrestlemania. The thought is that with help from Trish, McCool would go over well in the match even if she loses.
This would help her sort of start her reign of dominance similar to Stratus when she won her first Women's Title in 2001.
Both are great wrestlers, and McCool is only getting better to me. Obviously this is only being discussed and not yet a certainty. But if it was there would be a storyline involved of course.
So we could expect to see Trish within a month to get the storyline started. What do you think, would it be good to see Trish at Wrestlemania 25?

Of course I want to see Trish at Mania! I hope she comes back permanently. The Divas need her. A match with Trish will blow up any Diva and if its against McCool then we will be looking at the next super over Diva in McCool. I look forward to seeing how it develops.

I met Trish Stratus in Afghanistan back in 2005. Matter of fact I was about 5 feet from the actual ring when the stars of the WWE wrestled. OMG Trish Stratus is so fine.
I remember HHH, Cena, Big Show, Flair, JBL, Carlito, Masterpiece, and all the ladies of the WWE were there as well. All of these wrestlers including others were so cool and put on an amazing show in freezing cold conditions and a wind chill factor that left me sore from just standing and watching for a few hours.
Funny thing though is Shawn Michaels was really hamming it up taking pictures, filming with his camcorder, just really being pro troops and to an almost disgusting manner.
After I returned from that deployment I was in San Antonio TX doing some military training and out on a date eating at CheesCake Factory. Well the wait was like 30 minutes so I wnet into the bar and ordered a couple drinks and low and behold I saw Shawn Michaels the "Heartbreak Kid." And before I go any further I am not the type to ask for autographs nor am I the type to really bother a a famous athelete, actor, etc.
I remember my date said "OMG that's the Heartbreak Kid!" and I replied that yeah he was cool and I actually met him in Afghanistan a few months back and he was super cool for doing that for the soldiers and risking his life just to show support. I was like you know what I'm gonna go up to him and just say thanks, tell him I was in Afghanistan when he wrestled for the troops and let him know it was appreciated.
This is how it went:
Me: "Hello, Mr Michaels...Do you mind if I interrupt you for a second?"
I reached out my hand and he shook it reluctantly
Michaels: SAID NOTHING - but gave a look of like what the F%$# does this guy want?
Me: "Yeah Man I was in Afghanistan a few months back when you came and visited and wrestled in that freezing cold weather...I just wanted to say Thanks A Lot for coming it was really appreciated and the Soldiers loved every second of it."
Michaels: Gave me a real pompous look and said "Yeah Man....whatever!" and then turned his back to me.
Me: "You know what...F%$# you then you little punk!"
At this moment Michaels turned around and looked at me like "whaaaaaaaa? Is this guy serious? "
And my date said "Come on Voodoo let's go."
As we walked away she said "I can't believe you just said that to The Heartbreak Kid...That really turned me on!"
TRUE STORY - I was going to whip his ass in the bar at the CheeseCake Factory...The End

Wow bro that actually breaks my heart. I was stationed at Ft. Sam Houston in San Antonio and I was a frequent customer at the CheeseCake Factory. I would have loved running into HBK but if what you're saying is true, I probably would have clocked him one too.

Anything with Trish Stratus assigned to it is certified greatness. She did really well on Raw a couple of weeks back and hadn't lost a step. Tho I am weary about McCool being to top diva, Trish would definitely boost McCool's game up.

That would be cool. But you know, we just saw, so it wouldn't be oh-so-shocking to see her again. If a few chips fall in the right place, I'd like to see it play out where another former Diva comes back in a major, major way. LITA
Here's what has to happen...
Edge vs Jeff Hardy, for the belt, of course
Cage is pulled in before Wrestlemania
Writers want to end the absurd Edge/Vicki thing
Remember, Lita started with the Hardy's. She left with Edge. And if Lita interferes because of her love for Edge, Vicki would be pissed!
Maybe I drank too much Kool-Aid, but that would be awesome.
