Thunder-Knicks: OKC Defense Overpowers New York
The Thunder have won two of their last three with a win tonight over the New York Knicks, 107-99.
Kevin Durant had 27 points and 13 rebounds and Jeff Green added 27 points and seven rebounds. Russell Westbrook led the assists column with nine while also adding 22 points.
The Thunder defense came up big when they needed it. Desmond Mason recorded three blocks, seven rebounds, and three steals to aide the effort.
The Knicks were led by Chris Duhon, who had 18 points and six assists. David Lee had 14 points and 13 rebounds.
The Knicks had trouble shooting the ball, shooting only 39.8 percent from the floor and 32.4 percent from three-point range.
Oklahoma City shot well, hitting 52.7 percent from the field, but had a poor three point performance with 31.3 percent.
The Thunder got win number five and continue to improve. They play the Minnesota Timberwolves on the road tomorrow.
