When most folks watch and read about the NFL combine, they’ll be checking out the fastest times, the highest jumps and all of the other workouts that take place.

However, the cameras are never allowed into the infamous interview rooms. It’s here where the NFL brass finds out what type of character, leadership and overall personalities the draftees have.

Bob Boland is currently the Academic Chair of Sports Management at NYU, and he has some insider insights on what goes on behind closed doors at the combine.  He was also a former NFL agent who had to get his clients ready for the most important “job interview” of their lives.

Bob dishes on everything from the most bizarre interview question he’s ever heard, courtesy of Jon Gruden, to what to expect at this year’s combine.  He also tells us that the combine is the unofficial start of free agency season.

Let the games begin.
