The Tampa Bay Lightning continue to sell as the NHL trade deadline approaches, sending forward Steve Downie to the Colorado Avalanche for defenseman Kyle Quincey, per TSN.ca's Bob McKenzie.
Tampa Bay GM Steve Yzerman has already sent defenseman Pavel Kubina to the Philadelphia Flyers and forward Dominic Moore to the San Jose Sharks. The Lightning are in the midst of a disappointing follow-up to their surprise run to the Eastern Conference finals.
