The Big 12 Conference announced Monday the selection of University of Texas freshman guard Myck Kabongo as the Phillips 66 Big 12 Conference Rookie of the Week. The voting was conducted by a panel of media covering Big 12 men’s basketball. The honor is the second for Kabongo and the third such honor for a Longhorn this season. Jaylen Bond earned the same honor on Dec. 19.
